Former youth pastor Mark Chandler and his wife Beverly received the call to work with the Navajo nation in Church Rock, New Mexico while on a mission trip with H&F in Mexico in 2005.  The Navajo people requested that a church be established in their community for the purpose of reaching out to their young people who are rejecting the traditional beliefs of the Navajo people. The younger generation is struggling with the overwhelming issues of drug and alcohol abuse, among other things.

A new church, now meeting in a local elementary school, is their response to that call for help. Mission teams are encouraged to lead evangelistic day camps, sports camps, block parties, back yard Bible clubs, revivals, etc. and find a way to show the community about the hope and sense of self-worth that can only be found in Christ.
