Special Needs Orphanage Loses Support

pic39.jpgSpecial Needs Orphanage Loses its Support

Casa Bethesda is an orphanage in Piedras Negras, Mexico that houses children and adults with mental illness. It was founded in 1999 by Pastor Paulino Esquivel and his wife, Gilberta, and is the only orphanage of it’s kind that we know of in northern Mexico. Most of the orphans at Casa Bethesda have been abandoned, and have no family that visits them.

For years our ministry and many others have visited Paulino and his children. In the past God has provided for Casa Bethesda’s financial needs through the donations of their visitors. Recently in a conversation with Pastro Paulino we were shocked to find out that, due to the fear that is growing about visiting Mexico, Hands and Feet was the only ministry to visit his orphanage so far this year.

Like most ministries that we help in Mexico Casa Bethesda does not have a plan B.  Their only plan is to trust the Lord to meet their needs. God has used us in the past to help grow their faith and provide for their needs. We believe that He is calling us once again to do the same. Please partner with us in an effort to support a much-needed cause.
