Special Needs Orphanage Loses its Support
Casa Bethesda is an orphanage in Piedras Negras, Mexico that houses children and adults with mental illness. It was founded in 1999 by Pastor Paulino Esquivel and his wife, Gilberta, and is the only orphanage of it’s kind that we know of in northern Mexico. Most of the orphans at Casa Bethesda have been abandoned, and have no family that visits them.
For years our ministry and many others have visited Paulino and his children. In the past God has provided for Casa Bethesda’s financial needs through the donations of their visitors. Recently in a conversation with Pastro Paulino we were shocked to find out that, due to the fear that is growing about visiting Mexico, Hands and Feet was the only ministry to visit his orphanage so far this year.
Like most ministries that we help in Mexico Casa Bethesda does not have a plan B. Their only plan is to trust the Lord to meet their needs. God has used us in the past to help grow their faith and provide for their needs. We believe that He is calling us once again to do the same. Please partner with us in an effort to support a much-needed cause.

There's this amazing feeling that overcomes you when you pour everything you have into someone else, this perfect fullness that comes from living for someone other than yourself. Our teams get to experience that week in and week out at Hands and Feet, and it never stops astounding and humbling us to see God move in the lives of so many people. Over the past month we were blessed to host two stellar groups: North Cobb Christian School in Guatemala City, Guatemala and Mountain Lake Church in Piedras Negras, Mexico.
This was our second year serving with the students of NCCS and there is seriously something in the water at that school- they are servants to the core! March 27-April 1, the NCC kids gave their all to the Lord, serving lunch and building precious relationships at the Hope for Guatemala Center.
Throughout the week, they served the community in a number of ways by painting houses and schools, leading soccer camps, distributing produce, and hosting a huge block party for the kids from the Hope Center. To see more pictures and hear more about what they did in Guatemala, check out the album on the Hands and Feet Facebook page by clicking here . NCC, we can't thank you enough for your wholehearted dedication to serving God's people in Guatemala!
April 3-9, we were excited to welcome Mountain Lake Church (Cumming, GA) back to Piedras Negras, Mexico. The team spent their mornings at the Casa de Paz (House of Peace) orphanage playing with the kids and giving the outside of the building a fresh coat of paint.
In the afternoons, they travelled to several different communities to provide free medical clinics. Medical clinics are a huge blessing in Piedras. Many people cannot afford to seek medical attention, so without medical missionaries, they simply go without treatment. Thank you Mountain Lake for providing such a huge service to the people of Piedras Negras!
The team from Mountain Lake was also joined by Dianne Forsythe, a RN from northwest GA. After seeing all the different needs first hand, Dianne has blessed us by organizing a major fundraiser for the ministry. Check out the Facebook page for details about our cash prize raffle and contact us today if you would like to help sell tickets!
Love wins!

The Rolands have arrived!
Our newest missionary family, the Rolands, have finally made the big move to Mexico. The blessings have already begun- after two and a half years of trying to adopt her, their daughter Domy is officially a part of the Roland family! Please be in prayer for the Rolands as they transition into their new lives in Mexico, get a feel for their roles with Hands and Feet, and find their place serving the people in Nava and the children at the school.
Your support makes it possible for us to send families like the Rolands into the field to share God's love. Please prayerfully consider financially partnering with Hands and Feet. Together, we will continue proving to the world that Love Wins!
